Social: 160 MDH for more than 1,000 social protection establishments in 2023 (Ms. Ben Yahia)

In response to an oral question on ”strengthening the financial resources of social protection establishments”, Ms. Ben Yahia indicated that the ministry managed to mobilize additional funds amounting to 30 MDH during the same year to compensate the deficit recorded during the previous two years, adding that his department intends to soon strengthen the financing of these establishments as part of the social protection project.
Furthermore, in her response to another question on “the results of the creation of child protection units at the regional level”, Ms. Ben Yahia reported 43 units distributed in all regions of the Kingdom, stressing that the The ministry aims to create at least one unit in each province over the coming months.
The minister underlined the importance of the role played by these units as a major vector in child protection, within the framework of the Territorial Protocol for the care of children in vulnerable situations, which was signed on May 27 this year, especially during the monitoring phase and the provision of social assistance services for children.
And to note that the ministry supports and supervises these units through communication meetings, as part of the promotion of the dynamic of creation of territorial bodies.
