Ramanathapuram: A grievance camp was held at the old Collector’s Office in Ramanathapuram district. Collector Sankarlal Kumawat presided over the function. DRO, Kamatchi Ganesan took the lead.176 petitions have been received and the Collector has directed the concerned authorities to resolve the matter.
On behalf of the Social Welfare Department at the camp, the Collector provided free sewing machines to five beneficiaries. The Collector distributed agricultural implements to five farmers under the Integrated Agricultural Development Program. The event was attended by Deputy Collector of Social Security Scheme Kandasamy, District Officer of Social Welfare Jayanthi, Joint Director of Agriculture Tom P. Silas, Deputy Director Zak Abdullah and government officials.
