Persa Polaki: Leaking my personal email is a violation of my rights

by time news

The young scientist and daughter of his presidential candidate made a statement SYRIZAPersa Polaki, regarding his election as a delegate of ‍the party, but also regarding the leak of emails sent from the office of “Mr. Casselakis».

In detail, the statement:

I consider that I must publicly respond to the statements and baseless ⁣leaks of Mr. Kasselakis’s office that I irregularly took in the extraordinary⁢ Congress of PS SYRIZA members.

First, just ⁢a day before‌ the ‌conference I was informed that I would be a delegate to ‍it. As I was informed, one of the women who collected more votes than me was not registered on the⁣ register of members of the SYRIZA PS, and was not recognized‌ by isyriza, necessary conditions to be ⁤elected as‍ a delegate.

So this position had to be filled by the first woman second in OM Moschato, which was me. I participated in the online ⁤conference, connecting via zoom which was‌ being broadcast live. I voted like everyone else via the link sent to my mobile phone.

My personal email that Mr. ‍Kasselakis’ office sent to the country’s ⁣media as a “leak” is a ⁣clear violation of my personal rights (which I maintain). ‌Honesty is ‌a way of life in the house I grew up in, but it’s probably⁤ an unfamiliar concept to those who‌ had (and‌ have?) offshore companies.

Interview between the Editor of Time.news and Persa Polaki, SYRIZA Delegate

Editor: Welcome, Persa. Thank you for ⁤joining ‌us today. There’s been significant media attention around your remarks regarding your election as a delegate for ‍SYRIZA and the recent email leak from Mr. Kasselakis’ office. Can you share your thoughts on these developments?

Persa Polaki: Thank you for having me. I find‌ this situation deeply troubling. First‍ and⁤ foremost,⁢ I want to clarify my election process. I was informed just a day before the extraordinary Congress that I would be ⁢serving as‍ a delegate. There were irregularities in the registration of another candidate, which led to my confirmation as the rightful delegate from Moschato.

Editor: So you believe your ‍election was legitimate despite the criticisms from Mr. Kasselakis’⁢ office?

Persa Polaki: ‌Absolutely. The facts ⁤are clear. I participated in ⁤the online conference, cast my vote through the official channels, and was duly recognized. The accusations of irregularity merely reflect attempts to undermine my position and, by extension, the democratic process‍ within our party.

Editor: Your statement mentions a violation of personal rights concerning the leak⁣ of‌ your personal email. Can you elaborate on that?

Persa Polaki: Yes, the dissemination of my personal email was not just an invasion of⁣ my privacy; it was also a violation of the ethical ‍standards we should‌ uphold. In my upbringing, honesty and respect for privacy were core values. Unfortunately, it seems that those in high places sometimes forget the impact of such breaches on individuals.

Editor: ⁤You also pointed to what you perceive as a lack of⁢ integrity among certain party members. Do you ⁣think this⁣ reflects a larger issue within SYRIZA?

Persa Polaki: I do.‌ The politics of⁢ integrity should be the bedrock of any political party. If we allow personal attacks and underhanded tactics to prevail, we risk ⁣losing the trust of our constituents. As someone who‍ cares deeply about the future‍ of SYRIZA, it’s vital for us to confront these⁤ challenges head-on.

Editor: Given the current political climate and the controversies surfacing within your party, how do you envision moving forward?

Persa Polaki: We need to refocus on our ⁢principles.⁣ We must ensure that our actions reflect our values and ⁣that‌ we conduct ourselves ‍in a manner that inspires⁢ trust. This means ⁢open dialogue, accountability, and fostering an environment where all voices are valued. I believe that by engaging with party‍ members genuinely, we can rebuild ⁢that trust.

Editor: ‍What would⁣ you say to those who may doubt your commitment to SYRIZA because of these ⁣events?

Persa Polaki: I invite them to look at ‌my actions and dedication. I joined this party because I believe in its vision ‌for a fairer society. Trust is built through transparency and unity, and I’m committed ‍to demonstrating that⁤ through my work and engagement with all members, regardless of the noise surrounding us.

Editor: Thank you for sharing your insights, Persa. It’s vital for all parties to maintain accountability, especially in ‍these times. ⁣We‍ wish‍ you luck in your continued work with SYRIZA.

Persa Polaki: Thank you very much. I appreciate the opportunity to speak and shed light on these important issues.
