Action taken against an imam who called for money laundering in a mosque in Kuwait without permission. The ministry itself has officially announced the action taken against the imam. In his sermon at the church, he called for fundraising. This is the second time that the imam has violated the rules and regulations of the mosques, the ministry said.

The ministry also said that he had earlier written that he would not repeat the mistake when he had committed the offense. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced that the imam of the Kaifan mosque has been suspended from preaching in the mosque for three months.
The work of the Imam was contrary to the rules to be observed in the mosques. However, the memorandum states that the action taken against the Imam was not related to acts of worship as was circulating on social media, but to money laundering in the mosque without permission.
