In‌ a statement⁣ to the press, the president of the municipality of Es-Semara, ‍Moulay ⁣Brahim Chérif, stressed ‍that this rehousing operation is part of the implementation of the “cities without slums” program, in the‌ with the aim of improving the conditions and living environment of families.

In this line, he indicated ​that the implementation of the household resettlement program is ⁢taking place in good conditions, in partnership with the various stakeholders, ‌with a view to‌ improving the urban landscape and working to ⁤make Es-Semara a city without slums.

For his part, ‍the regional director of Housing and City Policy in Laâyoune-Sakia‍ El Hamra, Hamdi‍ Zeroual, noted that this ​operation benefits more than 4,000 households, with a view to declaring Es-Semara a ‌city without a slum by the ‌end of the current year, in accordance with the objectives set​ by the ‌supervisory department.

The beneficiaries of the​ rehousing ⁣operation, for their part, welcomed this initiative which allowed ​them to benefit from decent housing preserving their dignity, renting the⁣ location of ‍their new ⁢housing close to public facilities and‍ various essential services. .

Furthermore, the wali and the delegation accompanying him gave the kick-off‌ for the realization of the second phase of this project in the north of the city which consists‌ of making a⁢ new subdivision serviceable, for a​ total investment of 260 million dirhams, on an area of ​​23.67 Ha.

The subject of a ⁤multi-party agreement, this project concerns‌ the ⁤equipment of 1,089 plots of⁤ land,⁤ the delegated project ⁢owner⁤ of which is the company Al Omrane Al ‍Janoub.
