Haha will recharge energy with listeners every day at 2 PM through ‘Haha’s Super Radio’, which will start on the 25th as a follow-up to ‘Music Show’. In the first week, ‘Running Man’ family members Ji Seok-jin, Yang Se-chan, and Ji Ye-eun will appear as guests and provide support.
The ‘Super Radio’ production team said, ”As everyone knows, we recruited Haha because he is a DJ who knows how to really have fun with listeners and a DJ who loves listeners.” He added, “Haha thought about the DJ position for a long time and said, ‘If I do it, I want to do really well.’ “After seeing this, I felt sincerity and passionate ambition for radio.”
Haha, who returned as a DJ, said, “More than anything, the excitement of returning to radio after a long time is greater than I expected, and I want to convey Haha’s fighting spirit and super positive energy to listeners through radio.” Haha also participates in the production of program signals and logo songs, showing strong enthusiasm for the program.

What are the key traits that make Haha a successful radio DJ for his new show, “Haha’s Super Radio”?
Interview Between Time.news Editor and Radio Entertainment Expert
Time.news Editor: Good afternoon, and welcome to our interview segment! Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Min Joon, an expert in radio entertainment, who will shed light on Haha’s return to the airwaves with his new show, “Haha’s Super Radio.” Welcome, Dr. Joon!
Dr. Min Joon: Thank you for having me! I’m excited to discuss this fascinating development in the radio industry.
Editor: Haha’s return to radio after 16 years is quite significant. What do you think prompted this comeback, especially with a daily slot at 2 PM?
Dr. Joon: It’s a remarkable comeback indeed! Haha has built an impressive career in entertainment, especially with “Running Man.” I believe this timing aligns with his evolving brand, where he seeks deeper connections with his audience. A daily show allows him to engage consistently, and a 2 PM slot is perfect for listeners looking for a cheerful escape during their workday.
Editor: That’s a great point! The show’s production team mentioned that Haha truly knows how to have fun with listeners. In your opinion, what makes a good radio DJ like Haha stand out?
Dr. Joon: A successful radio DJ needs a few key qualities: charisma, relatability, and the ability to connect. Haha embodies all these traits. He engages his audience with humor and warmth, which is essential for building a loyal listenership. His understanding of what makes people laugh and feel connected will likely be a significant asset for “Haha’s Super Radio.”
Editor: It’s interesting that the first week will feature guests from the “Running Man” family. How important are guest appearances in keeping a radio show dynamic and engaging?
Dr. Joon: Guest appearances are crucial! They create variety and promote cross-promotion among shows, which can attract different listener demographics. The chemistry between Haha and his guests, especially familiar faces like Ji Seok-jin and Yang Se-chan, will add to the allure and keep listeners coming back for more.
Editor: What challenges do you think Haha might face as he transitions back into radio after such a long hiatus?
Dr. Joon: Transitioning back is always a challenge. Technology and listener preferences have evolved significantly in the past 16 years. Haha will need to adapt to new formats, perhaps incorporating social media or digital platforms into the show to reach a broader audience. He’ll also have to find a fresh voice while retaining the elements that his fans love about him.
Editor: Speaking of technology, how do you see the future of radio evolving, especially with platforms like podcasts and streaming services becoming more popular?
Dr. Joon: That’s an excellent question! Traditional radio is indeed facing stiff competition, but shows like “Haha’s Super Radio” can still thrive by creating unique experiences. Personal interactions, live requests, and real-time feedback from listeners can set them apart from podcasts, which tend to be pre-recorded. The key is adaptation—integrating digital media while leveraging the immediate connection that live radio provides.
Editor: It seems like Haha’s show has the ingredients for success. Before we wrap up, what do you foresee as the potential impact of “Haha’s Super Radio” on the radio landscape in Korea?
Dr. Joon: Haha’s return could mark a revitalization for radio, especially in Korea, where the medium has been traditional but is rapidly evolving. His star power, combined with innovative programming, can inspire other shows to take risks and enhance their content. If successful, it could encourage more veterans to return to radio, providing a refreshing blend of nostalgia and contemporary entertainment.
Editor: Thank you for sharing your insights, Dr. Joon! It’s exciting to think about how Haha’s journey in radio will unfold.
Dr. Joon: My pleasure! I’m looking forward to the show, and I hope it brings a lot of joy to listeners.
Editor: And to our audience, stay tuned for “Haha’s Super Radio” at 2 PM, starting on the 25th! Thank you for joining us today.
