International Film Festival in Thiruvananthapuram: Launching on March 18

Thiruvananthapuram: The 26th International Film Festival kicks off on March 18 in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kerala Chief Minister Binarayi Vijayan will light a candlelight vigil at the Nishakanthi Auditorium in Thiruvananthapuram at 6:00 pm on the occasion, which will be the next step in the Goa Film Festival.

The eight-day festival will feature more than 180 films from India, Afghanistan, Korea, Iran and Japan in seven categories. The awards for best films will be presented on March 25.
