For the third time since the project was founded, a Hasidic music ensemble was recruited to sing the most opposite song for him: Moonlight of Aviv Gefen.

The Shlitzim trio has been active for 7 years and they perform and are identified with contemporary Chassidic music, music with a taste of yesteryear, cover versions of R. Shlomo Carlebach’s songs and Israeli Jewish music.

“Glatz’s venture did turn us on,” he says Moishe Shilitz. “And although there is seemingly no connection between an ultra-Orthodox band and Aviv Geffen, we have discovered that music can connect in an amazing way and bridge the gaps that seem to exist between us as a people.”

“When we were approached with the idea to sing, it was very strange to digest, it happened long before Aviv’s approach to the ultra-Orthodox and religious public, the Jewish souls connected and it is no longer so strange to sing Aviv in a Jewish accent, once the heart is the common language, our connection with one rises and thrives. ”.

“No matter who you are, where you come from and where you go, if you look up you will see the moon, big and bright, shining on all of us without any difference, secular and ultra-Orthodox, right and left, we do not know if we will change the world, but with the right melody we will succeed To love everyone, see how the heart expands, this is our melody, of all of us… ”.

The days of the Corona, in effect, shut down the musical activity of the brothers, and after Pesach the trio intends to reunite to release new songs and go on gigs.
