Announcer-turned-broadcaster Choi Eun-kyung (51) announced that she was eliminated from the Taekwondo 1st Dan promotion screening.
On the 18th, Choi Eun-kyung revealed a photo of herself wearing a Taekwondo uniform on her social media.
Eun-kyung Choi said, “When I started taekwondo this year, I decided I had to get the 1st degree, and I worked hard in the spring, summer, and fall. “I worked really hard and it was the long-awaited Kukkiwon screening on the final day,” he explained.
“I was so embarrassed to be evaluated in front of people for something I couldn’t do, so my face turned red and I burst out laughing. I said, ‘Why are you in your 50s?’ between elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students.”
Eun-kyung Choi said, “For some reason, I was judged by Gangnam-gu 1st Dan alone. “I miraculously passed out the 1st dan, which even a kindergartener got, and according to the article, even an 80-year-old could get,” he said.
“In the middle of Chapter 4, I recreated Chapter 4 beautifully and confidently. “As expected, memorizing the order of things with my body is really like this. Why is it like this?” he lamented.
He continued, “It’s been a while since I failed the announcer exam, so my emotions are very complex and subtle. Lastly, I am sorry, Master,” he added.
Meanwhile, Eun-kyung Choi joined KBS as an open recruitment announcer in 1995. He left KBS in 2002 and became a freelancer. Currently, he is in charge of hosting MBN’s entertainment show ‘Unraveling Show Dongchimi’.
Choi Eun-kyung married a non-celebrity man in 1998 and had a son in 2004. Recently, she revealed her son’s enlistment in the Marine Corps through the YouTube channel ‘Choi Eun-kyung’s Management Office’.

In this context, Eun-kyung Choi seems to express a mix of embarrassment and humor about being evaluated in front of a diverse group of people, from students to older individuals, during a screening event related to Taekwondo. Despite the pressure, he seems to have managed to keep a positive attitude about his performance.
The mention of his past experiences as a KBS announcer and his current work as a freelancer gives some background on his career, while his personal life, including his marriage and his son’s military enlistment, adds depth to his story.
