Benfica won on Tuesday against the Swiss Kadetten, 39 to 32, in a match valid for the fifth round of group C of the European Handball League, thus guaranteeing first place and, consequently, the ranking for the main group.
The victory takes the Reds to 10 points and above French Limoges, with four points less. Kadetten appears in third place, with four points, while the Slovaks, Presov, are still at zero points.
It’s worth remembering that the sixth round remains to be played, with Benfica traveling to France to face Limoges next Tuesday.
