Another journalist killed in Ukraine
STORY: A cameraman and a journalist from the US broadcaster Fox News have been killed near the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra Kuvshynova were traveling with correspondent Benjamin Hall on Monday when their vehicle came under fire, the US broadcaster said on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Kuvshynova supported the Fox News team with research in Ukraine. Out of consideration for the family, the broadcaster initially only announced Zakrzewski’s death. Zakrzewski has been working in Ukraine since February, the station said. The 55-year-old reported on almost all international stories from Iraq to Syria to Afghanistan for Fox News. Correspondent Hall was injured in the incident on Monday and continued to be treated in hospital on Tuesday, according to the broadcaster. At least four journalists have been killed in the nearly three-week fighting in Ukraine.
