Young striker Sekou Mara has extended his contract until 2025, the Girondin club announced on Wednesday. Passed by the training center, the 19-year-old striker, French international in all youth categories (U16 to U21), has been playing under the Bordeaux colors since 2017.
Son of television journalist Audrey Crespo-Mara, the striker has 27 appearances with the professional team since the start of his career, with two goals scored and 4 assists delivered. This season, he has appeared 17 times in Ligue 1, with a goal against Angers on Matchday 3 (1-1).
