Retired civil servants protest

The Nagai taluka office had earlier staged a protest on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Retired Civil Servants Union. District chief Sitharaman led the protest. District Deputy Chief Sundarapandian took the lead. District Secretary Subramanian spoke. At the meeting, pensioners chanted slogans condemning the insurance company for not repaying the medical expenses incurred for their medical treatment and demanding an increase of Rs.1000 in medical allowance as provided by the Central Government.
