Kochi : The court ruled that the investigation into the conspiracy to assassinate the investigating officers in the case of the attack on the actress could not be stayed and that a detailed argument should be heard in the case. Dileep had filed a petition in the high court seeking that the case not stand and the FIR be quashed. The case will be heard again on March 28.
On March 16, Dileep had told the court that the evidence in the case had not been destroyed and that the private conversations had been removed from his mobile phone. Meanwhile, the crime branch will question Sai Shankar, a cyber expert from Kozhikode, in connection with the conspiracy case.

The investigation is based on the discovery that Dileep’s phone information was destroyed using Sai Shankar’s laptop. There are reports that crucial documents were seized during a search of Sai Shankar’s house in Kozhikode by the crime branch.

However, Dileep had told the court that no evidence was found in the forensic report and that there was a discrepancy between the forensic report and the investigating officer’s explanation.
