Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has hit back at Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramis Raja’s statement that no player will be able to play in the IPL if changes are made to the Pakistan franchise league PSL.

Rameez Raja had said that if the draft system in the PSL was replaced by an IPL-style auction, no one would be able to play in the IPL.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCI) has given top priority to changes in the IPL-style star auction to bring in players from the current draft system.
As the PSL becomes a money-throwing league, it remains to be seen who will get out of this league and into the IPL, ‘said Rameez Raja.
However, Aakash Chopra had silenced Rameez Raja by explaining with examples that PSL could not bring a player to the team at a cost of Rs 16 crore.

The pay for a delivery last season was higher than the total pay for players in other leagues.
