The Sensex and Nifty closed higher today on the 4th day of trading in the stock market.
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex rose 1047.28 points to 5,7863.93, after opening at 56,816.65 yesterday (March 16).
Similarly, the Nifty closed at 16,975.35 points and opened at 17,202.90 points today, up 311.70 points to settle at 17,287.05 points.
The stock market, which has been on a downward trend for the past few days, has been slowly recovering over the past few days.
Shares of Reliance, HDFC Bank, HDFC and Kodak Mahindra were particularly high.
