Piano Next Generation Stars Contest opens on December 1st
The 19th Seoul International Music Competition with LG, the best gateway for musicians, will be held from december 1 to 13 at the Seoul National University Cultural Centre and Seoul Arts Center Doam Hall. This competition, co-hosted by Dong-A Ilbo and the seoul Metropolitan Government, is in the piano category. Among 140 applicants from 16 countries, 29 from 6 countries who passed the preliminary screening will compete fiercely. A large number of performers who have won prizes in world-class competitions, such as Italy’s Viotti, Russia’s Tchaikovsky, and switzerland’s Geneva Competition, will participate, and the winners will receive world-class prize money, including first place $50,000, and various privileges, including collaboration with top domestic and international orchestras. We ask music lovers to pay close attention and observe who will be the winner of the Seoul International Music Competition, the only international music competition held in Seoul, the ‘capital of K-Classical’.
