Greta Welder, a 23-year-old Russian resident with many followers on social media, disappeared about a year ago after attacking President Vladimir Putin. Only in recent days has a suitcase containing her body been found. Dmitry Korubin, 23, who knew the young woman, admitted strangling her to death, then drove 500 miles, leaving the body in the trunk of a car, the Daily Star reported.
Corobio told authorities he slept in a hotel room for three nights next to her body that had been crammed into a newly purchased suitcase. The man then left her body in the trunk for a year, but continued to post on her social media pages to make it look like she was still alive.
Wadler’s disappearance came immediately after her remarks against Putin were published on social media, so it was speculated that this was a Kremlin plot. “I can only assume, in my opinion, clear psychopathy or clear sociopathy in him.
