From May 23 the new version directed by YouNuts !: “It’s not a remake, but a tribute”
The Bud Spencer and Terence Hill of 2022, protagonists of the new version of “Otherwise we get angry”, have the faces of Edoardo Pesce and Alessandro Roja respectively. The cult film of 1974 returns to the screens on March 23, updated and revisited, directed by the duo of directors YouNuts!, Namely Antonio Usbergo and Niccolò Celaia. This is not a remake, but a tribute, the directors pointed out: “We were born in the 80s and raised in the 90s. We are part of that generation that devoured the evening films, including those with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. which have greatly contributed to shaping the aesthetics of our works ».
It is up to the actors Pesce and Roja to collect the legacy of one of the most beloved Italian couples of actors, indelible in the collective memory with their fist fights and the competition to see who drinks more beer and eats more sausages. In the film the two impersonate Carezza and Sorriso, different and quarrelsome brothers who have to bury the hatchet to go in search of the legendary red Dune Buggy, a car stolen from them by the evil Torsillo.
In the role of the latter is Christian De Sica who commented on the success of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill: «That couple was a donut that came with a hole, like the one between me and Boldi or Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. A couple who reminds me of the good times, full of optimism and poverty. At that time there was a wonderful optimism and in this bad moment it is good for you ».
