A text that makes you shiver. While the motions of censure presented by the left and the National Rally against the government of Michel Barnier will be discussed and voted on Wednesday at 4pm, Marine Le Pen returned to the text of the New Popular Front on Tuesday morning.
“Can we question the PFN’s real desire to see this censorship overcome? », asked Marine Le Pen to the microphones of BFMTV and LCI, from the National Assembly.
I wonder what the left’s desire is to see this budget censored, which offends those who can vote for it.
Maybe they want this budget to be implemented so they can benefit from the chaos this budget would cause economically and socially?
In any case, don’t… pic.twitter.com/l6touf6e8h

“In general, when we present a complaint and want it to be voted on, we avoid insulting those who are induced to vote for it. So I end up thinking that the left and the far left realy don’t want the National Rally to allow a vote on this censorship,” says the leader of the far-right deputies.
“Vile obsessions”
In the motion of censure signed by 185 deputies, the left-wing alliance directly attacks the RN, accusing Michel Barnier of seeking “a now clear agreement” with Marine Le Pen’s party and estimating that the prime minister “has given in to their most vile obsessions, with a new immigration law that would continue the moral and political failure of last year, and by questioning state healthcare”. And this “while the vast majority of our fellow citizens have chosen the barrier of the far right during the legislative elections”, adds the text.
“If they present a motion, we present one to,” recalls Marine Le Pen. And in theirs the left proposes and the RN disposes”. “Maybe they want this budget to be implemented so they can benefit from the chaos it would cause economically and socially? We are not in this strategy,” he adds.
Towards the vote on Wednesday
Despite the criticized paragraph, RN deputies should still vote in favor of the left’s motion. Questioned on CNews/Europe 1, Jean-Philippe Tanguy confirmed the position of his parliamentary group. “Even if we are criticized, insulted, we defend the national interest (…). We are not voting for the text of the LFI, it is a sort of lateral artifice, we are only voting for the censorship” of the government, he insisted.
Unless a stunning breakthrough occurs, the censure motion presented by the PFN should therefore be adopted with the votes of the far-right party. Furthermore, 325 deputies signed one of the two motions of censure, a number well above the 288 votes needed. They will be discussed on Wednesday in speedy succession, starting with that of the left which will have to be defended by Éric Coquerel, president of the finance Commission of the LFI.
According to several parliamentary sources, the first result is expected around 8pm.
What impact could the censure motions have on the stability of michel Barnier’s government?
Time.news Interview with political Expert Dr. Anne Dupont
Editor: Good afternoon, Dr. Dupont.Thank you for joining us today. With the motions of censure against Michel Barnier’s government set to be discussed and voted on shortly, could you shed some light on the political landscape surrounding these developments?
Dr.Dupont: Good afternoon! Its a pleasure to be here. The political climate in France is quite charged right now, especially with the motions of censure being led by both the left and Marine Le Pen’s National Rally. This is a pivotal moment as it showcases the growing discontent among various factions regarding Barnier’s government.
Editor: Indeed. Marine Le Pen has raised some intriguing questions about the intentions behind the censure motions. She asked if the New Popular Front (PFN) truly aims to see this censorship overcome. How do you interpret this statement?
Dr. Dupont: Le Pen’s comments reflect a skepticism that is increasingly common in French politics. By questioning the sincerity of the PFN’s motives, she is not only challenging the unity of the left but also positioning herself as a more aggressive alternative. It’s a strategic move to paint her party as a defender of free expression, while simultaneously undermining the opposition’s credibility.
Editor: That’s engaging! It truly seems like these discussions are not only about policy but also about image and public perception. How might these debates impact the upcoming elections?
Dr. Dupont: Absolutely, the narrative being constructed is crucial. If the censure motions succeed, it could destabilize Barnier’s government and shift the balance of power. This may energize Le Pen’s base and possibly attract undecided voters who are disillusioned with traditional parties. Conversely, if Barnier withstands this challenge, it might consolidate support around his governance and portray the opposition as ineffective.
Editor: There’s certainly a lot at stake here. What do you think the reaction from voters will be as these events unfold?
Dr.Dupont: Voter reactions will be mixed, but there’s a notable undercurrent of frustration with political instability. Many citizens desire decisive leadership and clarity on policy issues. if thay perceive that the opposition is more focused on political maneuvers rather than addressing their concerns, it might backfire for the left and the National Rally.
Editor: That’s a critical point.Moving forward, how can Barnier’s government respond to these challenges effectively?
Dr. Dupont: Barnier’s government needs to not only defend its policies but also engage directly with the electorate. This might involve addressing pressing social issues and demonstrating a clear plan for the future.Obvious interaction and public engagement can also help create a narrative that counters the opposition’s attacks.
Editor: Thank you, Dr. Dupont, for your insightful analysis. It will be engaging to see how these political maneuvers play out in the coming days.
Dr.Dupont: Thank you for having me. I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds, as it will certainly be a defining moment for French politics.
Editor: That’s all for today. Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving situation here at Time.news!
