The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel has issued a scathing critique of Israel’s refugee reception policies in the country. “The updated immigration policy of the Israeli government does not cover the main challenges of non-Jewish refugees from Ukraine,” according to the statement. “Russia commits genocide against Ukrainians, kills thousands of civilians, while the Israeli government examines all refugees from Ukraine in a ‘thin comb’.”
