“The joint efforts of⁣ China and Africa can generate new⁤ momentum ‌for ‍progress on the continent,” the UN chief was quoted as saying by the press service of‌ the international​ organization.

Mr. Guterres, ⁣who was speaking at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit, which is being held from⁣ September⁣ 4 to ​6 in Beijing, expressed the world organization’s support for this partnership which constitutes, according to him, a pillar​ of South-South cooperation. ‌
