Thus, as part of the various INDH programs, some 122 classrooms intended for preschool education were created, between 2019 adn 2024, at the prefecture level, benefiting approximately 3,223 children.
According to data from the Social Action Division (DAS) of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture, the number of rooms built by the INDH has increased considerably, from 26 rooms in 2019 to 122 rooms under the school year 2024/2025, while the number of beneficiary children increased from 769 to 3,223.
The progress of infrastructure and the evolution of the number of beneficiaries of preschool education concretely reflects the relevance of the interest shown by the INDH of the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq to the rising generations, to ensure the right to schooling from an early age, particularly for children from rural areas.
Among the flagship projects carried out in this area are the “Noujoum Al Bahr” educational complex in the Foul El Olliq district in M’diq, managed by the Regional League for Child Protection, and the preschool unit of douar Belouazene in the commune of Al Alyiyene, managed by the Moroccan Foundation for the Promotion of Preschool Education (FMPS), which reflect the quality of services offered as part of the implementation of INDH programs, aimed at to generalize preschool education in the prefecture.
In this regard, the INDH has strengthened its partnership with several institutional actors, notably the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Tangier-Tétouan-Al hoceima, the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of education national, preschool and sports, the Moroccan League for Child Protection (LMPE) and the FMPS, with a view to ensuring the success of this project.
In a statement to MAP, the regional coordinator of LMPE in the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq, Ikram Bouchnita, stressed that the “Noujoum Al Bahr” educational complex, inaugurated in May 2024, was built in partnership with the INDH, as part of the implementation of its second program, which targets children in vulnerable situations, with the aim of promoting the human capital of rising generations.
The manager indicated that this establishment embodies the strategic vision of the League, which converges with that of the INDH, through the implementation of accompaniment and support programs for children in vulnerable situations, while broadening the base beneficiaries of preschool education and other early childhood services.
For her part, Douae El Yaznassni, supervisor and supervisor at the FMPS of M’diq-Fnideq, affirmed that the Foundation has become one of the essential pillars of the development of preschool education in Morocco, since it offers education of quality to children aged 4 to 6 using well-defined approaches.
