Dhe Mazda guys are unlike any other. That’s just to explain, in case those interested rub their eyes at the new model that’s due to hit the market in June.
The CX-60 is an SUV of stately stature, and as if that were not enough, the even more stately sister model CX-80 will probably follow in the year after next, with then seven upright seats or the possibility of seating inside with the family for a cup of jasmine tea to take a kotatsu.
Until then, the CX-60 bears the title top version, its elegant, but at the same time lush-looking body stretches to 4.75 meters in length. According to the published mood, the company’s first plug-in hybrid petrol engine is initially responsible for propulsion, it gets 327 system hp and a whopping 500 Nm of torque from four cylinders and a displacement of 2.5 liters. The battery stores 17.8 kWh and is good for up to 63 kilometers of electric driving according to the WLTP standard. The maximum charge is a moderate, but mostly sufficient 7.2 kW.

But Mazda wouldn’t be Mazda if they didn’t have a surprise up their sleeve. In 2023, a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with a displacement of 3.3 liters and two output levels will follow. In 2024, an in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 3 liters will follow. Both with a 48-volt network and the remarkable promise of naturally meeting the strict emissions standards.
Likewise, the almost classic facility with knobs and buttons and head-up display draws attention, positively, in our opinion. The automatic driver positioning is a still rare highlight.
