Indian Gold Mine Production 1.6 Ton: WGC-Dinamani

by time news

According to the World Gold Council (WGC), only 1.6 tonnes of gold has been mined in India by 2020.

The council said in a statement:

Although India is the largest producer of nuggets for gold in the world, its mining market is small. In it, there is an environment where no one can easily enter.

At this stage, only 1.6 tonnes of gold has been produced from Indian mines by 2020. However, in the long run, India’s gold mining production is expected to increase to 20 tonnes a year.

According to the WGC, the biggest challenges facing the Indian gold mining sector are regulatory challenges, including tax policies and infrastructure.
