Come on. There are expectations among Tamil cinema fans that the films directed and produced by Ranjith will have many symbols, the beautiful life of the oppressed people and the new politics that have never been told or spoken about, such as the deep politics buried within it. Come with so many expectations. ‘Kudiraival’ co-produced by Ranjith Yazhi Films Vignesh Sundaresan has been released in theaters today.

‘What if someone wakes up and suddenly feels like he has a horse’s tail sprouting up?’ Isn’t the urge to watch a movie contagious while reading? Did the horse finally satisfy that curiosity?

Kalaiyarasan, who has played the role of speaker Saravanan, Chennai The. Stays alone in an apartment in the city. But that is not to say that he is the only one staying in that room. Some other non-human beings are staying away from him. If so, don’t panic that this might be a ghost movie. Beyond him, viewers of the film will be told in one scene who else is staying in his room.

Well, let’s get to the story. Kalaiyarasan wakes up from sleep. Suddenly he feels the tail sprout. That too, by the horse. It is shown how the tail of the horse stays behind the horse and beats dub dub, as well as the tail behind it beats like a mosquito. The fear and anxiety of what others will think of us when we see the existence of the tail infects the artist. At the same time, does he only know the existence of the tail? Do others know? Walks with the confusion of. A schoolboy and his mother say something and laugh, curling inside thinking that the tail is visible to others. Suffers from inability to go to public places. He runs out of the office confused as to whether the water tap in the house has been shut off. He also loses his banking job due to such a confusing mindset. At the same time, he is looking for the answer to his problem and dream.

To that end, Kalaiyarasan, who decides not to go to a psychiatrist, goes to such a grandmother who is sitting in several films, smashing the betel leaf in a mini urinal in order to create a flashback to the ghost films. After that, his math teacher, who had only been working at the school for six months, searched and talked to each of the famous TV astrologers who were enjoying watching the song ‘Kattipudi Kattipudita’. The rest of the story is whether his search was answered.

In the acting race, Kalaiyarasan’s flow is smooth. But, he is the only one running in the race. That, too, feels like the tail is twirling, and the artist, unable to walk as usual, walks in shock and shock. The ‘mena’ rhyme he does, like the horse, is very much admired by Mhoom ‘horse’ism. Kalaiyarasan has scored his acting facial expressions, which suffers from psychological problems, as MGR looks at the tailless horse and asks the reason in his voice.

Debut directors like Image Reflection are co-directed by Manoj Lionel Jason and Shyam Sunder. ‘Have a girl inside you. Will they remind you? ‘ Grandmother who interprets dreams, the iconic stories she tells are truly primitive and make you search for true history. “According to Darwin’s theory, man came from ape. Hand and foot. Only the tail is coming… Why is the tail coming? Why do you tell me to cut the children’s tails? ”,“ Where did the numbers start .. where can they end? ” Rajesh, who wrote the story, screenplay and verse, makes us think by asking various questions like this.

Fantasy story, colorful scenes, Buddha, Jesus, mother, royal tree, grandmother’s story, think to distort my identity. . The film is full of such symbols and verses. But, The screenplay moves slowly, like a buffalo tail, without traveling fast enough to fit the title of the ‘horse tail’. Kalaiyarasan, who feels that the tail has sprouted in the film, keeps the audience much thinner than he is. The environment to watch the rest of the film as Tiger’s favorite story even when Inter ‘Wall’ leaves. As we have to research for ourselves the strong reason for such a gruesome murder of the main character coming into the film.

It seemed that the theater would have been overwhelmed by the comedy if the fortune teller had only given the role to SJ Surya. Kalaiyarasan, Chetan, the dream-telling grandmother, Anjali Patil, who has lost his memory and wandered in search of a dream, have given life to all the characters like the flashback girl Neeli who is waiting for Kalaiyarasan. But, the story just moves like a horseless tail.

In general, dreams are incomprehensible and irregular. Most dreams will not be remembered even when awake. Sometimes what we are deeply thinking about comes to mind. The film focuses on Sigmund Freud’s dream research. The protagonist also introduces himself as Freud. The Magical Realism genre for Tamil cinema is different, welcome and commendable. The film is supposed to be like ‘Wall Nut Cake’. But, the big minus is that the picture was taken without understanding the dream model. The picture is not as comprehensible as the accounts written throughout the math teacher’s room. I do not remember coming out after watching the movie.

Just as Kalaiyarasan went in search of his grandmother, mathematician and astrologer in search of dreams, fans also had to go in search of film directors like Rajesh, Freud, who wrote the story, screenplay and script.

The big strength of the film is the cinematography by Karthik Muthukumar and the songs by Pradeep Kumar. Karthik Muthukumar has kept the camera inside the room and rotated it from different angles as per his dreams. Each scene is refreshing, showing colorful colors to the eyes like a rainbow. Pradeep Kumar has excelled in the songs ‘Flying Away’ and ‘Araro Ariro’.

Directors have tried to make a Tamil cinema of world cinema standard. But is world cinema enough to be understood only by artists, writers, journalists and intellectuals, like the world cinemas released at film festivals? Does the general audience not understand? The ‘horse’ team must find the answer to the questions.

The title of the film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, first produced by director Pa. Ranjith, focused on the horse. In his recent film ‘Writer’, a woman who was stopped by a high-ranking official on horseback thrilled the audience with her majestic ride. However, in the film ‘Kudiraiwal’, they have tried to point out all the Muslim Power advertisements as masculine and feminine from a different angle. There is nothing wrong with that. But it would be a mistake to subject our patience to psychological research to the extent that we might get on a horse and run away if we found a horse inside the theater.
