The next day he returned to the village of Hizma equipped with another knife, then went to another complainant who was staying near the grocery store, made sure he was not an Arab and began to slit his throat. The complainant tried to defend himself and at the same time the owner of the grocery store went out towards him and as a result the defendant fled the scene. As a result of the defendant’s actions, the complainants required medical treatment.

The indictment attributes to the defendant the commission of an offense of a terrorist act of attempted murder. The prosecution is asking the court to order the detention of the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him. It will be recalled that forces of undercover and border fighters, together with the IDF, were operating in the Shuafat refugee camp, following the intention they received from the GSS regarding a suspect in carrying out the two stabbing attacks.
