Eirik Haugan missed the first penalty for Molde. From there, it was only one way with scoring after scoring.
Thus it was Julius magnusson who could decide everything in front of the Molde supporters. He was as cool as the winter weather in Oslo that Saturday evening. Then it exploded at Ullevaal.
– Magical. It’s a dream come true, says Morten bjørlo about the cup gold to VG.
And that very thing is coming home to Fredrikstad for the first time in 18 years – and was secured in front of an Ullevaal mostly dressed in red:
– You almost have to pinch yourself. And when my song is sung so many times during the match… It’s absolutely fantastic, says Bjørlo.

After a terribly dull cup final with not many chances, FFK could celebrate together with what seemed like a home crowd.
The last time the club won the cup final was in 2006. Simen Rafn, who played the entire match that evening, was also present that time.
– Since then, it has been both a goal and a great dream for me. To lift that king’s cup here in front of the city you are from… When you look up in the stands there, there aren’t many eyes that aren’t moist. It is incredibly big to be a part of that, he says to VG after the triumph.
This also means FFK will play Europa League qualifiers next season. Molde, on the other hand, is out of Europe next season after finishing fifth in the league.
– Losing a cup final is a terrible feeling. You feel empty, says Møller Dæhli to VG after the match.
– I feel a void, simply put. It hurts a lot in body and soul. It’s going to be a night of sorrow tonight, yes, says Kristian Eriksen to VG.

Before this, it was the dispute between Martin Linnes and Morten Bjørlo that was the talk of the day.
– Then it’s the balls I come close to. So it happens in the heat of the battle; I understand he gets a bit irritated, says Morten Bjørlo to VG.
It was early in the first half of the cup final that Bjørlo and Molde player Martin Linnes got into an argument.
Alexander Schau in NRK studio calls it a “slap on the behind.” TV images show that the FFK profile throws an arm into the Molde fullback’s noble parts.
– We can only hope for his sake that it doesn’t come out on television what he did. It’s pretty clear that it is a purposeful action, says Linnes to NRK.
Several times there was tension during the match. andrine Hegerberg,NRK’s football expert, says in the channel’s studio that it is indeed all deliberate from FFK.
– This is not just a one-time event. It’s a plan from Fredrikstad. They didn’t find their rhythm at the start and are trying to break down Molde’s rhythm with things other than football measures. And it has actually worked for them, believes andrine Hegerberg.
