She’s the woman who provides the daily answer to life’s most crucial question: “What’s the weather today?”.Every Saturday, she brightens our weekends with her infectious energy on the lifestyle show, CoolT. Oh, and did we mention she can dance like a pro? This is Natalie Trifonova.
Born in the historic city of Veliko Tarnovo, Natalie found her roots in the bustling heart of Sofia. A descendant of a distinguished medical family – her mother a skilled dentist and her grandmother a renowned pediatrician – she chose a path less travelled.
While Natalie earned her degree in “Business Informatics” from the UNSS, fate lead her to the vibrant world of television. She began her journey as a weather presenter and, judging incidentally the camera adores her, it was a match made in heaven.
Joining the esteemed team of meteorologists at bTV in 2016, she further cemented her place in the television landscape by becoming the charismatic host of the lifestyle show CoolT in September 2020.
Already a force on screen,natalie took on a new challenge in February,captivating audiences in the high-stakes production of “Dancing Stars”,where she made it all the way to the final round!
Navigating life with a dancer’s grace and a summery smile,even on cloudy days,Natalie Trifonova is truly the embodiment of “The Lead role”.
“When I look at the sky in the morning, I say thank you,” she shares with bTV. “I frequently enough express gratitude for what I have, for the experiences that unfold, and I truly beleive that people should do this more often. The most precious thing I possess is my family and friends, their love sustains me.”
While her family tree boasts a legacy of doctors, Natalie’s path diverged, opting for a career that resonated with her artistic soul.
“I’ve always had a creative flair,” she explains. “Fields like dermatology or dentistry, which have an artistic element, might have been a better fit for me. But ultimately, I chose a different path, and I have no regrets.”
Her journey began in her early childhood. She recounts how her grandfather enrolled her in modeling classes while she was in elementary school.
“My grandmother is a bit more customary, and for her, education has always come first. Perhaps, when I first started in television, she wasn’t convinced it was the right path for me, but her opinion has changed now,” Natalie shares with a smile.
As the students celebrate their day, Natalie encourages young people to chase their dreams with unwavering courage and step boldly into the future.

My grandfather enrolled me in modeling classes during my childhood, which ignited my passion for performing. The combination of my creative side and the opportunity to present weather forecasts truly felt like a match made in heaven.

Initially, my grandmother wasn’t convinced that television was the right path for me. However, as she watched me thrive in this surroundings, her opinion changed, and now she supports my journey wholeheartedly.

Keeping a positive mindset helps me navigate the demands of these roles with enthusiasm.

Natalie Trifonova: Dancing has taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of expressing oneself. It’s a beautiful way to connect with emotions. Competing in “Dancing Stars” also helped me step outside my comfort zone, and I beleive that challenges are essential for growth, both personally and professionally.
