HK Innoen CEO Kwak Dal-won and Financial ⁤Investment Association Chairman Seo Yoo-seok are taking a ​commemorative photo at the 2024 Korea ⁢ESG Standards (KCGS) Excellent⁣ Company⁣ Awards Ceremony. 13 ⁢companies, including HK InnoN, were selected as excellent ⁤ESG and governance⁣ companies.

⁢ HK InnoN announced on the 9th that it was selected as an excellent⁤ ESG company at the‍ ‘2024 Korea ESG Standards (KCGS) Excellent Company Awards Ceremony’ held⁣ at‌ the Korea Exchange.

At the awards ceremony, key officials including Kwak Dal-won, CEO⁤ of HK Innoen, officials from ​13 award-winning companies,⁣ Financial Services Commission Vice Chairman Kim So-young, Korea Exchange‍ Chairman Jeong Eun-bo, and KCGS Vice President Lee‍ Jeong-eui ‌attended.

As ⁣a result of the ESG​ evaluation, KCGS selects and awards excellent companies to‍ companies that actively practice ESG ⁢management and contribute​ to ​the sustainable growth of the capital market among the top companies. Awards are given in three categories: Honorary Companies,Excellent ESG Companies (Grand Prize,Best,Excellence),and​ Companies with ‍Excellent Governance Structure (Grand​ Prize,Best,Excellence). Awards are given separately to general listed companies and ‍financial companies.

Award-winning companies will be granted a one-year⁣ exemption from⁣ disclosure and ESG education program fees provided by the Korea Listed Companies Association,​ KOSDAQ Association, and Korea Institute of certified‌ Public ‍Accountants.

HK InnoN was‍ listed in the ESG excellent company category (KOSDAQ) for general listed ⁤companies. There are ​13 excellent companies selected this time. HK InnoN is ⁤the only pharmaceutical and bio company. It is said that efforts to ‌strengthen management⁢ transparency through active ESG information​ disclosure and efforts to create a sustainable‌ business ecosystem ‍were highly evaluated.

Kwak Dal-won, CEO of HK InnoN, said, “We are achieving meaningful results by⁣ actively pursuing ESG management‌ acceleration,” and added, “As a leading ESG company ‌in the pharmaceutical and bio industry, we ⁣will continue ⁢to secure ‌competitiveness for a ‌sustainable future.” In the case​ of HK InnoN, it received ‍an A grade in the ESG evaluation​ rating for domestic companies announced by KCGS last year and ‍an A+ grade this ​year. The company⁣ received an A+ grade in the society and⁣ governance sector and an ⁢A grade in ‍the environment sector,⁤ demonstrating the industry’s highest level of ESG management capabilities.

There was no grand prize in the ESG excellent company category for general listed companies, and​ Hyundai Easywell was selected as the best company. Along with HK InnoN,three companies,including ⁣SK Square and POSCO Future M,are ​excellent companies. There was no grand prize⁤ or grand prize for⁢ financial companies,⁣ and Samsung

Card was selected as an excellent ⁤company.

In the category of companies with excellent corporate governance, neither general listed companies nor‍ financial companies were‍ eligible, and Hyundai Home Shopping and Shinhan Card were each named as ⁤the best company.Hyundai​ Easywell and Hyundai Home shopping, which were named among the top companies in the ESG excellent company‌ category,​ are both affiliates of Hyundai Department ⁢store Group.
