Lod police officers, together with YSM Merkaz fighters and Border Police fighters, arrested 25 family members last night (Saturday) during an initiated operational activity, residents of Lod on suspicion of involvement in the night shooting in Pardes Snir in the city, which was carried out on suspicion of local conflict.
Meanwhile, the police forces in cooperation with the forensic investigators and the police dog unit of the Central District, conducted an initiated search of the compound. Weapons items, including grenades and ammunition, were seized at the scene, as these were transferred for further extraction of evidence in the forensic laboratories of the Israel Police.
The police said that in accordance with the needs of the investigation, the suspects will be brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court this evening for a request to extend their detention.
