Korea Cyber University (President Kim jin-seong) held a ceremony commemorating its 24th anniversary at the basement auditorium of Hwajeong Hall on the gyedong campus at 2 p.m.on Friday, November 29. This commemorative ceremony was prepared as an opportunity for the faculty and staff of Korea Cyber University to gather to look back on the achievements of the past 24 years and share the school’s future vision.
The event began with a commemorative speech by President Kim Jin-seong, followed by a congratulatory speech from the alumni president, presentation of appreciation plaques to long-serving faculty and staff, and awards to outstanding employees and departments. This year, appreciation plaques were awarded to 12 employees with 20 years of service and 10 employees with 10 years of service, and departments and employees with excellent performance received commendations.
Jinseong Kim, President of Korea Cyber University, emphasized that the school’s advancement was thanks to the founder’s vision and the dedication of its members, and said, “Korea Cyber University has reached what it is today after a long voyage to realize the ideal of lifelong education.” He then expressed his intention to prepare for a new leap together, saying, “If the members’ efforts and passion are added, our university will establish itself as a more respected university.”
Simultaneously occurring, Korea Cyber University will be recruiting new and transfer students for the first semester of the 2025 school year starting December 1. Those working in industries and public institutions can receive tuition reduction benefits through ‘industrial consignment selection’, and those working at institutions with wich an agreement is in place are automatically eligible for the benefits. Organizations that have not signed an agreement can also sign an agreement and receive benefits through a simple process.
