JI: In‍ My ‌Inseparables,⁤ I portray a complex character who navigates themes of friendship and personal growth. ⁤What resonated ‍with me ​is his journey; he faces struggles that many​ people can relate to. Thru this role, ‌I wanted to ⁣convey vulnerability and strength, and I feel proud ‍of the work ⁣we accomplished as a team.

TNE: It sounds like a captivating role. How did you ​prepare for this character,especially considering the emotional depth required?

JI: preparation is‌ key for any role,but with this one,I immersed ⁤myself in the character’s world.‌ I spent time⁢ understanding his background and motivations, and I also ‍worked closely with the‍ director, Anne-Sophie Bailly,​ to ensure we⁢ were aligned on the character’s arc. Emotional depth often comes from personal experiences, ‍so I drew⁢ from my own life reflecting on resilience and the relationships that define ‌us.

TNE: Collaboration seems⁤ vital⁤ in the filmmaking process. What was it like working with Anne-Sophie Bailly and the rest of the cast?

JI: working with Anne-Sophie has been an illuminating experience. She fosters a creative habitat where‌ all actors feel‍ encouraged to express themselves. ⁢The chemistry among‍ the cast⁤ was also‌ remarkable. We supported each other throughout filming, which made our performances feel authentic. Every ⁣rehearsal‌ felt like a genuine ‌exploration of the material.
