The capital XVI. Balázs Hidvéghi said at a press conference before the public forum organized in‍ his district ⁢that the ⁣government announced the national consultation a few weeks ago as Hungary⁢ has reached a turning point in economic ⁣policy‌ and can onyl be ‍prosperous and ⁢able to achieve and maintain growth if “we manage our international relations economically neutral “. To this end, we trade⁤ with both the East and⁤ the West, because it is beneficial for Hungary and the people living here, he said.

This is why the government ⁤is asking people’s opinions ‍on the subject, so⁤ far nine hundred thousand people have returned the⁤ questionnaire of the national consultation, he emphasized.

The state secretary drew ⁣attention to ‌the fact that the consultation can already be completed online, and asked everyone to take advantage of the opportunity and express their opinion in the remaining period until December 20.‍ The government is ⁤planning ‌a number of measures for next year that will ‌help⁤ Hungarians, ⁣such as raising wages,‍ improving housing, helping small and medium-sized‌ businesses, protecting the thirteenth monthly pension, continuing and further increasing family ⁣tax benefits, he listed.

The cabinet intends ⁤to publish‌ the preliminary results of⁢ the national consultation before the final summary,⁣ the parliamentary vote, he pointed out.

According to Balázs⁤ hidvéghi,⁤ the series of previous consultations and the citizens’ interest in them legitimized and confirmed the ⁢government’s intentions and plans.
