A while has passed as a YouTuber showcased 3D prints of what is expected to be Nintendo’s next console release. Although Nintendo has not officially revealed anything since bar teh Alarmo, various sources have outlined more details about the long-awaited Switch Lite and Switch OLED (curr. $349 on Amazon).
Now, the YouTube channel SwitchUp has got its hands on what is said to be a mockup of the second-generation Switch from a third-party case manufacturer. As such, the device is a dummy unit rather than a functional prototype.
Nonetheless, the design shown is expected to be based on accurate dimensions. Ultimately, the so-called Nintendo Switch 2 looks an awful lot like the existing Switch at first glance. however,it is noticeably wider than the Switch OLED when comparing the two side-by-side. Simply put, the Switch 2 is about as wide as the Valve Steam Deck.
