Imran Khan’s party has 155 members and smaller parties supporting Imran have 24 members. Opposition parties have 162 members. With 25 MPs from his own party coming out against the government, it is certain that Imran’s chair will go if a no-confidence vote is taken.

Imran had a face-to-face meeting with Army Chief Javed Bajwa as part of an effort to seek military support and stay in power. Twenty-five rebels who have vowed to vote against Imran have sought refuge at the parliament building in Islamabad.
