His Golani: Raviv Fiddler in an official and exciting renewal of the mythological song

by time news

Singer Raviv Fiddler, Golanchik himself and a graduate of the Egoz unit who continues to serve in active reserve service, renewed the immortal song “My Golani” written and composed by Efi Netzer and Amos Ettinger and performed for the first time by Yehoram Gaon. The song was renewed in collaboration with GLC and the Golani Brigade.

The re-enactment was recorded in honor of the Golani Race, which is considered a traditional divisional-national event that takes place every two years for decades. This year, the 31st Golani race will be run under the sign “My Golani – an Israeli story”.

As part of the race, Golani Brigade fighters will run from Mount Hermon to Eilat. At the same time, the brigade’s fighters will reach 5 major cities around the country where they will volunteer in the community and hold talks and activities with various students about significant military service, conscription and the history of the Golani Brigade. Then in each city there will be a folk race in which the division will run along with its residents and at the end a guest artist performance.

This year the race will take place between the dates: 27-31.3 and will take place in the cities: Carmiel Modi’in, Jerusalem, Ashdod and Eilat.
