Disaster in China: Chinese state television reported that a China Eastern Airlines plane crashed this morning (Monday) in the mountains of Guangxi province in the south of the country with 133 passengers on board.

According to the report, the plane that “had an accident” was a Boeing 737 that carried 133 passengers from Kunming to Guangzhou and the number of casualties was not immediately known, CCTV reported. Rescue forces on their way to the scene.

No reference was made to the cause of the crash of the 6-year-old Boeing 737-800, according to Flightradar24.
