Chungju City was selected as the best institution for three consecutive years in the 2024 Chungcheongbuk-do tuberculosis control project performance evaluation. The ‘2024 Chungcheongbuk-do Tuberculosis Control Project Performance Evaluation Competition’, hosted by Chungcheongbuk-do, selects the top 6 public health centers in order of highest score by comprehensively evaluating 6 quantitative indicators of tuberculosis management and 1 qualitative indicator of best policies.

Meanwhile, Chungju Museum announced that it was selected as a participating institution in the ‘K-museums joint exhibition’ contest for the 2025 Folk Life History Museum Cooperation Network Project hosted by the National Folk Museum.

The ‘K-museums joint exhibition’ is a project that the National Folk Museum of Korea has been promoting since 2012 to revitalize local museum operations and expand exhibition capabilities. It supports the planning, exhibition construction, and catalog production of joint exhibitions.

The National Folk Museum of Korea selected Chungju Museum and Seodaemun Natural History Museum as two target institutions for the 2025 project.

The joint special exhibition is scheduled to be held in the second half of next year, and the Chungju Museum will prepare the exhibition by closely collaborating with the National Folk Museum on planning, design, and operation.
