Yesterday in Sami Ofer: A fan was arrested who was in possession of three knives and attacked another fan

During the football game, which was held yesterday at the Sami Ofer Stadium in Haifa, the police noticed a fan who violated the order during the game and attacked another fan. During a search of the fan by the police, three knives were seized and confiscated.

The fan, a 40-year-old resident of Tirat Carmel, was taken for questioning at the city police station. The police intend today to request an extension of his detention in the Magistrate’s Court in Haifa.

The police said that they will act harshly in any case of violence and disorder and will summon the law with those who choose to turn the sports experience into a violent event.
