The legislators of the National Action Party presented a point of agreement before the Permanent Commission to request that an Open Parliament be instructed to analyze the Senate minute that reforms the Law of the Housing Fund Institute for Workers (Infonavit), in which all sectors involved can participate.
The deputy Agustin Rodriguez He said that it is also necessary to have a working table with the general director of Infonavit, Octavio Romero and the officials considered necessary to explain the scope of the initiative.
They also asked for a working group with union and employer organizations to express their opinion regarding the content of the proposal.

In this regard, the senator, Ricardo Anaya, warned that the novelty of the reform is that the Government will be able to use other people’s resources, that is, those of the workers, for their housing projects, “but if these go wrong… they will lose their money.” .
The point of agreement highlights that by reducing the percentage of participation of the labor and employer sectors, “tripartite representation would be violated and investment surveillance and control mechanisms would be put at risk, in addition to weakening the consensus necessary for good progress and implementation of the programs.”
They highlight that in addition to the representation of the workers, there have also been voices from the employer representation that have expressed themselves in favor of carrying out an analysis, with more time and greater depth, of the initiative.
In this way, the PAN legislators celebrated that an extraordinary period was not carried out and trusted that an open parliament would be achieved.
