India’s homegrown wealth tech app Paytm Money has launched ‘Pay Later’ Margin Trading Facility, allowing investors to buy and invest in stocks by paying only a fraction of the total value upfront. The platform will pay the remaining amount and it will be executed through ‘Pay Later’ (MTF) which will attract an introductory interest of 1% every month. This enhances investors’ ability to take advantage of market opportunities and ensures that investors only pay for the funds they actually use.
The introduction of Pay Later (MTF) on Paytm Money will benefit traders and investors as it will make trading easier and more flexible, especially for those who want to increase their exposure to the stock market without investing entire capital. Furthermore, it democratizes participation in the stock market, making it easier and more affordable for retail investors across the country.
As part of its commitment to provide a seamless experience, Paytm Money has made the Pay Later (MTF) activation process simple and user-friendly. Investors can easily activate Pay Later (MTF) in just a few minutes directly through their account settings. Additionally, Users can activate Pay Later (MTF) by selecting the ‘Margin’ option while placing an order for any stock for which they are eligible and agreeing to the terms and conditions on the order page.

With Pay Later (MTF), traders have another facility to harness the power of leverage.
