Thrissur: A student who was traveling on a scooter with her father died in a private bus accident. David’s daughter Laya (22) died in Karuvannur. The injured David was admitted to a private hospital in Thrissur. Laya is a graduate student of St. Joseph’s College, Iringalakuda.

The private bus went through Laya’s body, which fell off the scooter. The driver and conductor fled the scene after the accident. Eyewitnesses said the accident was caused by the speeding bus. Cherp police reached the spot and took the bus into custody.
