The Ministry of Health and Welfare is evaluating the implementation of community security plans for local governments across the country every year to increase local governments’ responsibility for implementing community security plans and to reduce regional gaps and promote community security.
The community security plan is divided into a four-year mid- to long-term plan and a statutory plan that establishes an annual implementation plan every year. The purpose of the community security plan is to contribute to improving the quality of local welfare services by establishing and implementing it by reflecting the needs of residents and the characteristics of the region.
In this evaluation, Hwasun-gun received a lot of favorable reviews for ▲supplying full rental housing for young people and newlyweds ▲implementing the visiting village doctor system ▲operating a multicultural team dedicated to its citizens.
In particular, the visiting village doctor system is in line with the government policy of ensuring that people can fully use essential medical services anywhere in the country, including rural areas, and has provided a solution to blind spots in rural medical care and the rural village doctor system, which is still in the fog. was evaluated.
In addition, it was recognized as an excellent public-private cooperation system for significantly increasing the special project expenses for towns and villages to eliminate welfare blind spots and increasing the participation of local residents by publicly recruiting members of the local social security council. Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bok-gyu) announced that on the 19th, 30 teachers and children from Hwasun Children’s Samteo Daycare Center (Director Kim Jeom-hee) held a donation ceremony in a small conference room at the county office.
Faculty and staff from Hwasun Children’s Samteo Daycare Center and 30 children aged 3 to 5 and a half visited the county office to donate 850,000 won of all proceeds from the event at the park.

Hwasun-gun is carrying out the ‘Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign’ for two months from December 1 to January 31, 2025.
