Kutcher and Kunis created the fundraising page on March 3 and donated $ 3 million themselves. Since then, more than 65,000 donors have contributed to the campaign. According to a CNBC report the list of top contributors includes some of the richest people in the world. Billionaire Larry Allison (sixth on the Forbes world list as of this writing), Oracle chairman, donated $ 5 million. Silicon Valley private investment firm DST Global donated $ 3 million, and DST partner family fund Yuri Milner donated $ 2.5 million dollar.
Another $ 2.5 million donation came from investor Ron Conway’s family, fashion model Carly Closs and her husband, Josh Kushner, donated $ 250,000 through their fund. Kushner is a venture capitalist and brother of the son-in-law of former President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner.
