New York: Mr. Bourita meets with his Rwandan counterpart
United Nations (New York) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita met, Tuesday in New York, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, Olivier Nduhungirehe.
During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the two ministers welcomed the ties of friendship and solidarity maintained by Rabat and Kigali.
They also exalted the quality of the feelings of esteem and respect which characterize the relations between their heads of state, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.
The two ministers also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation with a view to aligning with the aspirations of both countries.
This meeting, which is part of regular exchanges between the two parties, was an opportunity to review the state of cooperation between the two countries and also address regional and international issues of common interest.
Mr. Bourita and his Rwandan counterpart noted, with satisfaction, their convergence of views on the various issues raised, and insisted on the importance of strengthening coordination in the various regional and international multilateral platforms.
