Persib wins 3-1 over Persita, Maung Bandung breaks record

jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung achieved another victory when they hosted Persita Tangerang at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium.

The match which ended with a score of 3-1 was scored by Beckham Putra (9′), David da Silva (38′), and Tyronne del Pino (51′), while the Cisadane Warrior goal was scored by Ryuji Utomo (16′).

The match was fierce for both teams. The hosts appeared to dominate and launched a number of attacks.

In the first half Beckham Putra and David da Silva managed to score goals, in the second half Bojan Hodak’s troops increased the intensity of the game.

The Blue Prince squad built an attack through Ciro Alves, David da Silva and Marc Klok in the 51st minute, resulting in a goal scored by Tyronne del Pino after grabbing the ball at the goal mouth.

In the 76th minute, Persita defender Charisma Fathoni committed a hard violation against Tyronne.

The referee reviewed it via VAR and the result was that Fathoni was given a red card. Persita also had to play with 10 players.

Thanks to this victory, Persib continues to stick to Persebaya Surabaya in second place in the standings by collecting 35 points.

Persib has recorded a record of 19 unbeaten matches, including four Championship Series matches last season.
