Driving is also difficult on the section of the Ventspils highway (A10) from Riga to Kūdra, on the section of the Rēzekne highway (A12) from Varakļani to Terehova, on the Russian border (Grebņeva)-Rēzekne-Daugavpils-Lithuanian border (Medumi) (A13) section from Grebņu to Špogii. , on the Rēzekne bypass (A15) and on the road Tīnuži – Koknese (P80).
Driving on regional roads is difficult in the vicinity of Riga, Jelgava, Dobele, Bauska, Tukum, Talsa, Ventspils, Ogre, Aizkraukle, Preiļu, Rēzekne, Ludza, Gulbene, Balva and Krāslava.

Maintenance works are carried out in priority order, first working on main, then regional and then local roads.
