During President Sheinbaum’s ‘Mañanera’ conference, the director of AIFA, Isidoro Pastor, pointed out that the airport is positioned at number 6 of the 80 that exist in the Mexican airport system, and that in November 2024, it reached its maximum peak, transporting 624,883 passengers.
“In 2022, during the first nine months of operation, 912,415 passengers were transported; During 2023, this amount rose to 2.63 million passengers; and during 2024, we have an important figure, which is the maximum peak we have had this year… 624,883 passengers have been transported,” he explained.
