Damyang-gun has been certified as an excellent institution again since it was first selected as an excellent institution in 2016, and has become a family-friendly institution by promoting maternity and childcare leave and flexible work systems, promoting family healing days, operating work clubs, and expanding employee welfare such as providing recreational facilities. Meanwhile, Damyang-gun’s ’56 Jungang-ro, an invitation to winter magic’, the 6th Damyang Santa Festival, opened with an opening parade on the 24th. This Santa Festival, now in its 6th year, offers a special winter experience to visitors in the Jungang-ro area of Damyang-eup until the 25th.
‘Jungang-ro 56’ is the street name address near where the main stage is installed, and is intended to help tourists easily find the festival site by simply searching for this address.
At this Santa Festival, Jungang-ro, Damyang-eup, the main stage of the festival, will be operated as a ‘Car-Free Santa Street’.
Santa Street is divided into four areas and provides visitors with the opportunity to experience a variety of winter scenery, and encounters with Santa, character parades, and various street performances further enhance the festive atmosphere.
There will be busking, magic performances, prizes and quiz events for two days, and to celebrate the opening, there will be an Ulala session and a congratulatory performance by Dana Kim and the a cappella team from 8 p.m.
In addition, on Christmas Day, a celebratory performance by singers Hong Kyung-min and Eun Soo-hyung will be held from 5:30 p.m.
